Cation exchanger KU 2-8 is a multifunctional strong acidion exchange resin. It can have different shades of color: from light yellow to dark brown. Cation exchangers are insoluble in water, organic solvents, solutions of acids and alkalis, are non-flammable, non-explosive, non-flammable products and do not have a toxic effect on the human body.

Cation exchanger KU 2-8 is used in the following areas:
- softening and desalting of water at thermal and nuclear power plants, boiler houses;
- purification of process solutions and wastewater;
- separation and separation of non-ferrous metals;
- as a catalyst.

Cation exchanger KU-2-8 is recommended to be stored in the manufacturer’s containers in dry, clean rooms. Freezing the cation exchanger does not affect its properties. Transportation by all modes of transport in accordance with the conditions for the carriage of goods applicable to this type of transport. During transportation and defrosting, mechanical shocks should be avoided.
