Sodium isobutyl xanthate 90% is a light yellow powder with an unpleasant odor, soluble in water and alcohol, and can form insoluble compounds with various metal ions. It is used in the metallurgical industry as a flotation reagent-collector for the enrichment of non-ferrous and rare metal ores using the flotation method (the substance is effective for the flotation of copper and oxidized lead metals). Not used in medicine or veterinary medicine. It is not a poisonous, narcotic or psychotropic substance. Not used for drinking water supply
