MIBC Methyl isobutyl carbinol 98%

Methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC) is a colorless and clear, stable liquid with a mild irritant odor, used as a foaming agent for most metals, ores and metal-oxygen compounds. It is also widely used in the chemical industry, since it can be an intermediate material for the production of certain compounds.
MIBK is an excellent solvent for dyes, petroleum, rubber, resin, paraffin, nitrocellulose, paints, and is also used in other fields. It can also be used as an organic synthetic feedstock and a foaming agent in mineral flotation.
Various sulphihydryl reagents are used as collectors during the flotation of sulfide copper-zinc ores: xanthates, dithiophosphates (aeroflots), dixanthogenides, aeroflots and others. Foaming agents used include pine oil, cyclohexanol, MIBK, T-66, T-80, TEV and others. Modifier reagents (regulators, activators and depressants) are also used: lime, cyanides and sulfates, etc.
